When new column types in the product started to come out at speed, data showed that users often wishes to switch an exsisting column - full of data, with a new one - filled of new abilities. Since the column switching technology was a little rough around the edges, data transfers could get messy.
The solution I designed focused on providing users with control over their content - during and after the change.
